Training Group Confidentiality Agreement
Confidentiality Agreement:
For a training to be a positive community it is necessary for group members to feel safe. I agree to help support other members as private issues may come up during training. If I do not feel safe or comfortable in the group, I will say so. Self-disclosure becomes very difficult in an environment where there is no trust. It is also important for members to be present at training sessions to establish community. I also recognize it is my responsibility to determine the level of disclosure in regards to my private life that is appropriate for me.
Group members are expected to maintain confidentiality about everything discussed in the training. Exceptions may be discussed with the group, but a unanimous decision by group members is necessary to make it binding. I agree to uphold this expectation.
