Our bodies give us a lot of information about what we are feeling and being able to match this feeling with an emotion word can be helpful for processing or simply feeling the feeling until it passes. Using a feelings wheel can also help expand your emotional vocabulary.

 

 

 

The core emotions are at the center of the circle-- this is the easiest place to start. As you work your way toward the outer circle you'll be able to identify more specific emotions. Try using this feelings wheel for yourself, with your partner, or even friends or family!
