As I’ve been working with parents of my preteen and adolescent clients, one of the more common areas of concern revolves around lying and the frequency at which it occurs. The simple fact is that children and teenagers will lie, same as adults. Through my work I've found that one of the hacks to deal with lying involves cultivating an atmosphere of trust and communication early on, while understanding reasons why your child or teenager would lie to you.
